Shell
Shell Edwards is the owner and founder of Kidz Artistry face painting. She has been working in the make-up industry since 2003. After completing a diploma in theatrical and media make-up Shell set up as a freelance make-up artist in 2010.
Being a mother of 3 Shell understands the important things that parents need to consider when looking at hiring a face painter. Not only the painting skills involved but also the need for high health and safety standards is top priority. Shell also makes sure that any face painter working with her have full public liability insurance, something often over looked.
Shell handles the majority of bookings and inquiries, and is always happy to answer any questions you may have.
Desrii
Desrii joined the kidz Artistry team in 2017, and started her journey with us as a glitter artist, providing glitter tattoos for parties and events. Desrii has also helped Shell with the launch of our new sparkle bar service. Also having a go at learning face painting and already has a few designs under her belt, Desrii is not being afraid to give anything a go.
Being a mum of 4 children, Delos, Tyreace, Keisha and Ayesha gives her plenty of experience with the little ones. The younger 3 have loved becoming models for their mum to practise her new skills with both glitter and face paint.
Stacey
Stacey also joined the Kidz Artistry team in 2017. Stacey was so keen to follow her passion for face painting that she approached Shell to find out if there was the option to join the team. Stacey has previously completed an artistic make-up course at college and fell in love with the creativity face painting provides. The make-up course has also provided Stacey with a good foundation of skills and knowledge for her face painting career. With a little additional training and support Stacey is growing into a great face painter and has also started doing glitter tattoos.
